After learning that the Hostess brand was going out of business, a Maryland woman with some outstanding dental bills decided to stockpile Twinkies in the hope of cashing in on the beloved bakery’s demise.
She purchased more than 30 boxes of the cream filled sponge cakes for $1.00 each and began to sell them on Craig’s List, Ebay and the classified section for $11.00 or more. She’s hoping this enterprise fetches enough money to pay the $2,000.00 she owes her dentist.
